Scene Settings Menu

• Open Files : OBJ + MTL, GLB, GLTF & 3DM files are allowed.

• Open Scene : Open existing scene previously saved.

• Save Scene : Remember to save your work !

• Scene Environment : High-dynamic-range images (HDR), adds light and reflection to the scene. You can use our pre-loaded environments or upload yours.
  You don't need very large images as they will increase the size of your scenes when creating combinations.

• Diamond Environment : Same description as in Scene environment, but one of the main specifity of CadGL is it offers the ability to apply 2 different environments in one scene which allows better control of metal reflection and diamond intensity.

• Background : Add a color or an image to your background.

• Rotate Model : You can easily rotate your object on every axis.

• Restrict Camera :

  • In Restrict Camera you can enable or disable all zooming and panning function in your scene.

  • Restrict zoom in and out, allow you to control and restrict the zoom value to a certain distance.

  • Camera angles can be restricted.

• Camera :

  • Setup basic zoom preference.

  • FOV (field of view) let's you add some perspective to your design. Use low value to lessen distortion.

  • Always remember to use Recenter before creating a new combination. Your object will be place at the center of the scene, you can also double click on the canvas to recenter the object.

  • Reset Camera will place the object in its initial position when you loaded it.

  • Re-center your camera before creating a new combination.

• Ground Shadows : Are dynamically generated. Lights are not implemented yet to the app.

• Ground Reflections : Do not disable ground shadows when using ground reflection as it will not work without it (adjust the shadow brightness to maximum value to hide it).

• Auto Rotate : Simple turntable animation. You can adjust the speed.

  An icon will be automatically placed in your combinations so the user will be able to switch it on or off. 

• Screenshot : Take a screenshot of your model. You can improve the pixel resolution by increasing the pixel ratio. Be aware the higher the pixel ratio is the more chance to crash your browser display, which could lead to lose your ongoing work if not saved.

• Show icons : Fullscreen and Info icons are shown by default in embedded iframes, here you can switch them off as you wish.
